Influence of abiotic factors on the development of corn leaf aphid, Rhopalosiphum maidis (Fitch.) on wheat varieties

Larvae of Rhopalosiphum maidis were collected from barley in the field in Haryana, India, and were transferred to wheat (varieties WH-147, WH-283, WH-291 and S-308) grown in cages. There was no significant relationship between reproductive period and temperature. Relative humidity was only correlated with the reproduction period on variety S-308.
