Intra- and extracellular hemagglutinins from dermatophyte Trichophyton rubrum: development-specific production and nutritional influence

, : Intra- and extracellular hemagglutinins from dermatophyte Trichophyton rubrum: development-specific production and nutritional influence. Biochemical Archives 10(1): 33-39

T. rubrum produces both intra- and extracellular haemagglutinins during growth in Sabouraud's medium containing 4% D-glucose and 1% peptone. A time-course study was designed for T. rubrum growth with concomitant production of haemagglutinins to investigate the effect of nutrients on production of both types of haemagglutinin using media composed of varied D-glucose and peptone concn.

The HIV-1 CCR5 co-receptor is a member of the chemokine receptor family of G-protein coupled receptors; for which a number of small molecule antagonists, such as vicriviroc (VCV), have been developed to inhibit HIV-1 R5-tropic replication. In this...

Luttrell, K.; Sandwell, D., 2012: Constraints on 3-D stress in the crust from support of mid-ocean ridge topography. The direction of crustal stresses acting at mid-ocean ridges is well characterized, but the magnitude of these stresses is poorly constrained. We present a method by which the absolute magnitude of these stresses may be constrained using seafloor...

Antagonists of this receptor (A(2A) antagonists) are consid...
