, : Intradermal test for bovine herpesvirus 1 infection. Tierarztliche Praxis 21(3): 189-191

The Behring Werke intradermal test was applied to 221 cattle at the Clinic for Ruminants of the Free University of Berlin. 40 were positive at 48 h, but by 72 h 5 had become doubtful and one negative. Of the 149 negative at 48 h, 10 had become doubtful and 3 positive by 72 h. 34 positive and 24 negative cattle possessed BHV-1 antibody detectable by ELISA.
