Intraspecific variation in photosynthetic light response and photosynthetic nitrogen utilization in the mountain birch, Betula pubescens sp. tortuosa

, : Intraspecific variation in photosynthetic light response and photosynthetic nitrogen utilization in the mountain birch, Betula pubescens sp. tortuosa. Oikos 60(1): 49-54

The photosynthetic light response characteristics and nitrogen use efficiency of five mountain birch (Betula pubescens subsp. tortuosa trees on each of two sites in the Abisko Valley, and one site on Mount Njulla, Sweden, were investigated, and are related to leaf nitrogen status.
