Introducing information technology into Dutch dairy farming
In the early 1970s ideas were developed to use information technology to support farm management. Since the middle of the 1970s more and more research has been initiated to process information on farm computers to support management by farmers. The computerized concentrate feeders were the first electronic information products for dairy farms.
