, : Introduction, field evaluation and adaptability of coffee rust (Hemileia vastatrix) resistant varieties in Papua New Guinea. PNG Coffee 9(2): 1-11

Ten rust resistant Catimor coffee cultivars from Australia and Portugal and 5 from Kenya developed from Colombia were evaluated during 1987-92, together with some commercial cultivars, for yield, growth and quality characters. The main trial took place at the Experiment Station, Aiyura, followed by adaptability trials in different ecological zones. Cup quality testing was carried out by both domestic and international liquorers from the UK, Germany and Kenya.
