Invasive aspergillosis in patients with malignant haematological diseases. A study of 29 cases

, : Invasive aspergillosis in patients with malignant haematological diseases. A study of 29 cases. Journal de Mycologie Medicale 3(2): 79-83

Of 29 patients with haematological malignancies treated for invasive aspergillosis (IA) during Jan. 1990-Dec. 1991, 19 had pulmonary aspergillosis, 9 had disseminated aspergillosis and 1 had sinusitis. The probability of IA corresponded to 3.8% of overall hospitalized patients (29 of 850 patients) and 11.5% of patients with acute leukaemia (23 of 210 patients).
