, : Inventory of tropical forage species maintained at CIAT. Working Document Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical ( 125): iii + 36 pp.

The tropical forage collection maintained at CIAT's germplasm bank currently contains 20 191 accessions of 717 species from 159 genera, of which 18 133 accessions are legumes and 2058 grasses. Presently, there remain only approximately 2500 accessions, with larger representation in 5 leguminous genera, yet to be identified at the species level.
