Investigation of a dynamic simulation of soil water content in the winter wheat fields of Jingyang County, Shanxi
A model of water uptake by winter wheat using a zero-flux plane to determine the maximum depth from which water was taken up by roots was developed. A soil water flow equation depending on temperature and water content gradient gave a numerical simulation of changes in soil water content from late stem elongation to the milk-ripe stage at Jingyang in 1988.
