Investigation of phenotypic variations of production and productive and reproductive traits of Black and White cattle
According to the results of this investigation into the productivity and reproductive traits of Black and White cattle, the following conclusions can be inferred. Av. duration of the 3 lactations was 344 days. First lactation was the shortest (339 days) and the 3rd the longest (356 days). Av. milk yield was 5758 kg, with the range from 5329 (1st lactation) to 6397 kg (3rd lactation). Fat content and milk fat yield were fairly high (3.86% and 222 kg).
