, : Investigation of resistant tomatoes varieties to Egyptian broomrape (Orobanche aegyptiaca Pers.). Seed and Plant 9(1/2): 34-38 (Pe), 6 (en)

Over 300 varieties of tomato were field tested for resistance to the parasitic plant O. aegyptiaca in Karaj during 1989-90. Susceptible varieties Koral, Early Urbana, Mobil and Primo Early were used as controls. At the time of transplanting, 2 mg of dry broomrape seeds were dispersed in the root zone of the tomato plants.
