Potato water with 10% glucose and liquid brewing wort were the best agar media for cultivating K. caulivora. Red clover plants artificially inoculated with K. caulivora were most susceptible at tillering and budding stages. The opt. inoculum density was 4.5-5.5 million conidia/ml and the opt. temp. was 17-23 degrees C.
