Investigation of the possibility of using antibiotics to control Agrobacterium tumefaciens
Pentrexyl, ceporex, streptomycin sulfate, vibramycin, chymociclar, nistatin and bactrim at low concn were antagonistic to 10 A. tumefaciens strains isolated from diseased grapevines in Yugoslavia during 1988-89. Streptomycin sulfate was the most efficient, and pentrexyl, chymociclar and bactrim were moderately effective.
