Investigation on platelet aggregation of dauricine in patients with cardiovascular diseases

, : Investigation on platelet aggregation of dauricine in patients with cardiovascular diseases. Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 10(1): 33-36

Dauricine is a new antiarrhythmic compound isolated from Menispermum dauricum rhizomes. Dauricine markedly inhibited aggregation of human platelets induced by ADP and other substances in vitro in a dose-dependent manner. A 20-30% inhibition of platelet aggregation was achieved after oral administration of 300 mg dauricine, 3 times a day, for 21 days, to 22 patients with coronary heart disease.
