Joint suitability study of BactoScan 8000 in Norway and Sweden

The BactoScan 8000 was investigated for its suitability for use in the bacteriological grading of raw milk at both the EC and Norwegian levels of 100 000 and 30 000 c.f.u./ml resp. Dilution factors of 100-, 333- and 1000-fold were used to compare BactoScan and standard plate counts on >1200 samples in Norway (including >600 transported from Sweden).
