Latex properties of several recommended clones. I. Recommended rubber clones 1988-1990

Fourteen characteristics were measured in latex from 14 clones. AVROS2037, PR255, PR300, RRIC102 and RRIC100 had the highest field latex dry rubber contents (>41%). AVROS2037 had the highest Mooney viscosity and initial plasticity. RRIM712 and PR302 had the highest plasticity retention index. BPM24 had the highest and AVROS2037 and LCB1320 the lowest ash content. GYT577 had the highest and RRIC102 the lowest volatile substance content.
