Microspore identification of oil palm Elaeis guineensis Jacq. for haploid culture
Identification of oil palm microspore stages was carried out in order to improve embryoid or callus production in microspore culture. Four of the main microspore stages (mother cell, tetrad, uninucleate and binucleate) have been identified using staining.
