Mineral levels of broiler house litter and forages and soils fertilized with litter

Minerals were estimated in samples of poultry feeds, broiler litter, deep stacked broiler litter, and soil and forage from pasture receiving broiler litter fertilization and adjacent pasture receiving none were taken from 14 broiler/cattle operations along the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas and from 1 operation in Missouri. Soils treated with poultry litter had higher phosphorus values than had untreated soils.
