Mineral magnetic analysis of iron oxides in arid zone soils from the Tunisian Southern Atlas
Mineral magnetic analysis was used to study the concn and type of iron oxides in soils, developed on geomorphological surfaces of 2 telescopically segmented alluvial fans (the Oued es Seffaia and the Oued et Tfal) in the Tunisian Southern Atlas. The mineral magnetic data was compared with that obtained using X-ray diffraction and atomic absorption spectrometry.
