Morphobiological and cytological characteristics of unstable wheat mutants induced with chemical mutagens

Morphobiological and cytological characteristics of unstable wheat mutants induced with chemical mutagens

Eesti Teaduste Akadeemia Toimetised, Bioloogia 42(2): 85-93

Selection of unstable genotypes (showing segregation for morphological characters of the ear) was performed from the M3 and M4 onwards. The material studied comprised M9 lines of several varieties obtained by treatment with various chemical mutagens. This material fell into 7 groups, each of which is characterized. Some genotypes were identified which gave a phenotypically uniform progeny.
