Natural reduction of willow carrot aphids by Coccinellidae on a carrot crop

Natural reduction of willow carrot aphids by Coccinellidae on a carrot crop

Folia Horticulturae 5(2): 87-93

The development of aphid and coccinellid populations was studied in 2 experimental carrot fields near Opole, Poland, in 1991. The main aphid species was Cavariella aegopodii. A very high natural reduction of aphids by Coccinellidae was observed in both fields.
