, : On Mehdiangularia Shinde, 1969 with report on a new species M. udgirensis sp. nov. (Cestoda: Dilepididae) from the common house swift, Apus affinis in India. Indian Journal of Parasitology 14(1): 89-92

Mehdiangularia udgirensis sp. nov. is described and figured (7 specimens) from the intestine of Apus affinis from Udgir, Maharashtra, India. The new species is closely related to M. swifti but differs from it in having a barrel-shaped scolex, mature segments wider than long, 16 (instead of 20) rostellar hooks, 25-30 testes/segment (instead of 28), and a prominent shell gland.
