Population dynamics of certain nematodes associated with date-palm in Egypt
Seasonal population dynamics of certain plant parasitic nematodes associated with date-palm (Phoenix dactylifera) Zaghlool soil in Egypt over one year (1991-1992) revealed that Helicotylenchus spp. were dominant and their population densities peaked in July and September, correlating with the soil temperature. A population of Meloidogyne incognita fluctuated with the soil temperature without any sharp increase during the year.
