Possibilities for influencing wheat baking quality
In field trials in 1986-90 at Nitra, winter wheat Roxana, Zdar, Ilona, Hana, Livia, He-417, So-6346, So-1946 and Bu-30 were compared after a crop of peas. Plots were given no fertilizer, 160 kg N + PK at an NPK ratio of 1:0.36:0.62 or FYM in accordance with the results of a soil analysis. Grain quality was best in Ilona and He-417 in 1986-88 and in So-1946 and Hana in 1989-90.
