Possibilities for reducing the damaging soil compaction effect caused by tractors and tillers

Hungarian Agricultural Engineering ( 5): 10-11
Possibilities for reducing the damaging soil compaction effect caused by tractors and tillers
The adhesion and traction characteristics of both conventional rubber and polyamide carcass tractor tyres were studied on lucerne stubble and a seedbed in a clay soil. Tests were carried out at variable tyre loading and inflation pressure, and at constant tyre loading and variable inflation pressure.
