Possibilities for utilization and secondary activity of neem (Azadirachta indica) extract in a peach orchard

A commercial formulation of neem extract (Neem Azal F) was tested in the laboratory and in peach orchards in France on insect pests and beneficial insects. In the laboratory, mortality of Myzus persicae and Cydia molesta was observed, but this effect was insufficient to control field populations. At 50 p.p.m., neem extract increased the mortality of Forficula auricularia and reduced feeding in the laboratory. Field populations were also reduced.
