Productivity and nitrogen fertilizer requirements of barley in rotation systems in rainfed mediterranean conditions

In field experiments in 1981-88 at 2 sites in Cyprus (250 and 350 mm mean annual rainfall) continuously cropped barley Kantara was compared with barley grown after Vicia sativa or fallow. Barley was supplied with 0, 30, 60 or 90 kg N/ha.
