Productivity of Scots pine stands underplanted with beech at Strzaowo and Polnica

, : Productivity of Scots pine stands underplanted with beech at Strzaowo and Polnica. Prace Instytutu Badawczego Lesnictwa ( 717-721): 85-101

Data are given from stands of Scots pine underplanted with beech in Strazaowo and Czuchow forest districts (NE and NW Poland, respectively). Current (1985) age of pine was 106-108 yr old and beech 72-74 yr old. Productivity of the mixed beech stands exceeded that of the pine stands by 7% (Strzaowo) and 32% (Czuchow), confirming results from Germany.
