For Australian Merino (AM) X Volgograd and Volgograd rams aged 14 months, body weight averaged 62.1 and 63.1 kg resp. in those born as singles, and 57.7 and 60.2 kg for those born as twins. The corresponding figures for of the same age were 43.7, 47.1, 41.9 and 41.5 kg. There were 21-31 animals per group.
