, : Progeny testing of Booroola rams for the F gene using prepubertal ewe lambs. Major genes for reproduction in sheep 2nd International Workshop Toulouse, July 16-18, 1990: 167-169

Daughters of 3 Booroola rams from matings with Hungarian Merino (HM) ewes, and purebred HM ewe lambs (controls), all aged 5-6 months, were injected with 625 IU PMSG. The percentage of animals having >=3 ovulations was 0 for controls vs. 28-39 for Booroola-sired lambs.
