Regulation of chromosomal polymorphism in Chironomus entis (Diptera, Chironomidae)

, : Regulation of chromosomal polymorphism in Chironomus entis (Diptera, Chironomidae). Zoologicheskii Zhurnal 70(8): 106-120

The chromosomal polymorphism of 4th-instar larvae of populations of C. entis (a recently described species of the plumosus group) in western Siberia (Novosibirsk region) and the Urals (Kurgan region), Russia, was studied. Homo- and heterozygotic band sequences were detected in all chromosomal arms except G. Arm A was the most polymorphic and contained 7 sequences.
