Regulation of flower bud differentiation and the contents of endogenous hormones by spraying citrus trees with BA
Four-year-old orange Jincheng and Clementine mandarin trees in the field, and 3-year-old potted mandarin Wilkin and Poncirus trifoliata trees were sprayed 3 times a month with BA at 200 p.p.m. from Jul. to Dec. and the effects on flowering the following spring were studied. The levels of endogenous gibberellins, ZR IAA and ABA in the early-autumn branches were also analysed.
