, : Relationship between esterase isozymograms and fertility of hybrids from rice cultivar 02428 and indica and japonica rice. Jiangsu Agricultural Sciences ( 1): 12-15

Esterase isozyme patterns were analysed in the parents and 50 F1 hybrids from crosses between the wide-compatibility variety 02428 and 49 indica and japonica varieties with good agronomic characters. Seven zymograms were identified in the 49 indica and japonica varieties, with a single zymogram accounting for about 66% of varieties. Seeding rate of the F1 hybrids ranged from 15.3 to 96.1%.
