, : Relationship between milk production and length of calving interval in cows reared in the district of Cuneo. Annali della Facolta di Medicina Veterinaria di Torino 33: 119-124

In a trial on 968 Friesian dairy cows reared on 15 farms in the Cuneo district of Italy it was found that length of calving interval is negatively affected both by high milk yield and by loose-housing of the cows.
