Relationship between variation in proline content and resistance to cold in some genotypes of winter wheat

Relationship between variation in proline content and resistance to cold in some genotypes of winter wheat

Probleme de Genetica Teoretica si Aplicata 25(1): 27-39

In a study under natural and artificial conditions involving 10 varieties ranging in cold resistance from the highly resistant Odesskaya 51 and Flamura 85 to the weakly resistant Libellula and Pandas, the resistant varieties had a higher proline content than the susceptible ones during cold hardening.
