In a field experiment on silty loam during the winter season of 1989/90 in Bhilwara district, Rajasthan, barley RD 31 given 15 kg N + 3.2 kg P/ha or 2,3 or 4 times these rates, produced grain yields of 1.95, 2.16, 2.16 and 2.20 t/ha, respectively.
