Response of groundnut to phosphorus and potash fertilization

Field studies were conducted during Kharif season of 1982 with four levels each of 0, 20, 40 and 60 kg/ha of phosphorus and potash. The pod yield increased significantly with increasing levels of phosphorus and potash. The N, P, K, Ca and Mg content of pod as well as haulms increased significantly and that of S decreased significantly with increasing application of phosphorus above 20 kg P2O5/ha. Potash application increased only N, P, K and S content.
