Response of papaya to foliar spray of boron, manganese and copper

An experiment was conducted on pawpaw Ranchi on a sandy loam soil during 1988-90. Seedlings were transplanted when 45 days old and sprayed with solutions containing 0.1% B, 0.25% Mn and 0.25% Cu, alone or in combination, at 60 and 90 days after transplanting. All micronutrient treatments improved plant growth, yield and fruit quality. Highest yield (38.98 kg/plant) was obtained with Mn + Cu treatment.
