, : Safflower and groundnut oilcake based pelleted feed for common carp rearing. Karnataka Journal of Agricultural Sciences 3(3/4): 241-245

In an 80-day experiment using 8 cement cisterns, young carp (Cyprinus carpio), were fed on natural fish food organisms, conventional fish feed and 2 pelleted feeds based on groundnut oilcake and safflower cake. Water quality and proximate composition of fish flesh was similar in all treatments. Carp grew better when fed on pelleted feeds.
