Seasonal changes in potassium, and other macronutrients in petioles and leaf blades of the vine cultivar Sultanina (Thompson Seedless) with symptoms of temporary potassium deficiency

Studies were carried out with 90 vines of uniform growth, good development and productivity but showing symptoms of temporary K deficiency. Leaves without symptoms and those showing moderate or severe symptoms were sampled on 7 dates between 14 Nov. and 15 Feb. The K concentration in both blades and petioles increased gradually from bloom to veraison and decreased towards harvest.
