Seedling growth and biomass production in Hardwickia binata Roxb. as affected by seed size

Seedling growth and biomass production in Hardwickia binata Roxb. as affected by seed size

Indian Forester 119(1): 59-62

Pods of H. binata were collected in February-March 1990 and the seeds extracted and measured. Size graded seeds (small, medium and large) were sown immediately in polybags containing sand/red soil/humus (1:1:1). Germination was complete after 6-8 days, and seedlings were removed 10 days after sowing and measured.
