Serological survey for Pasteurella multocida serotypes A and D in pigs by indirect haemagglutination tests

Serological survey for Pasteurella multocida serotypes A and D in pigs by indirect haemagglutination tests

Journal of the Japan Veterinary Medical Association 45(10): 752-756

Indirect haemagglutination tests for antibodies to serotypes A and D were carried out on 402 sows and 1041 fattening pigs from 40 farms in 11 prefectures in July-October, 1990. Of the sows, 341 (84.8%) and 48 (11.9%) had antibodies to serotypes A and D, respectively, while for the fattening pigs these figures were 551 (52.9%) and 112 (10.8%).
