Soil erosion and its control in an eroding granite area of southeast Fujian. II. Effect of slope and vegetable cover on soil erosion

Soil erosion and its control in an eroding granite area of southeast Fujian. II. Effect of slope and vegetable cover on soil erosion

Journal of Fujian Agricultural College 19(3): 316-320

Erosion in the area studied increased with slope gradient, but not in proportion to it. However, on 26 degrees slopes, this was not found where the ground was covered by vegetation. Erosion can be controlled by increasing the degree of vegetation cover.
