Stability analysis for seed yield in greengram (Phaseolus radiatus) and blackgram (P. mungo)

Twenty-two P. radiatus and 8 P. mungo genotypes were grown in the west-central tableland region of Orissa during some rainy and summer seasons of 1987-91. Significant differences in seed yield were observed among genotypes and environments, indicating genetic variability in both pulses. Genotype x environment (GE) interaction, and variances due to environment and GE interaction were significant.
