A degraded pasture infested with R. acetosella was sown with Dactylis glomerata and the weeds controlled by application of Banvel at 6 litres/ha before sowing with or without 4 litres Banvel/ha after sowing applied either in Sep. or in the following Mar. or by application of 2 litres Banvel with 4 litres Roundnup before sowing.
