In field trials conducted on sandy loam soil at New Delhi during 1984-85, the effects were evaluated of pre-plant incorporated (PPI) fluchloralin at 0.5-1.0 kg/ha, PPI fluchloralin at 0.5 kg + hand weeding once 30 d after sowing (DAS), pre-em. metribuzin at 0.25 kg, oxadiazon at 0.5 kg, metolachlor at 0.5-1.0 kg, and oxyfluorfen at 0.25 kg, post-em. fluazifop-butyl at 0.25 kg, hand weeding twice 30 and 45 DAS, and hand weeding once 30 DAS for weed control in soyabeans PK 327.
