Study of resistance mechanisms to Meloidogyne incognita race 3 in bean varieties

Study of resistance mechanisms to Meloidogyne incognita race 3 in bean varieties

Nematologia Brasileira 16(1/2): 41-52

The behaviour of M. incognita race 3 was studied in the Phaseolus vulgaris cultivars Nemasnap and Rico 23, in a series of different experiments. A larger number of larvae was seen in Rico 23 roots. A lower mean number of egg masses and eggs per egg mass and a lower number of giant cells were observed in Nemasnap.
