Study on Aspidiotus chinensis Kuw. et Mur

Aspidiotus chinensis had 3 generations a year in Shanghai, China, and overwintered as a fertilized female. Crawlers of the 3 generations occurred during late April to late May, early July to early August, and early September to early October, resp. The lower threshold temperature for egg development was 11.15 +or- 0.51 degrees C and the effective temperature sum 58.11 +or- 5.4 day-degrees C.
