Survey of viruses affecting lentil (Lens culinaris Med.) in Syria

Faba bean necrotic yellows virus, luteoviruses (bean leaf roll luteovirus, beet western yellows luteovirus and potato leaf roll luteovirus), pea seed-borne mosaic potyvirus, broad bean stain comovirus (BBSV), bean yellow mosaic potyvirus and broad bean wilt fabavirus were isolated from lentils in Syria. With the exception of BBSV, the viruses are recorded from lentil in Syria for the first time.
