Testing of fuzzy set theory in land suitability assessment for rainfed grain maize production

Pedologie 42(2): 129-147

Fuzzy set theory was used to determine the suitability of land for grain maize production in Aitai County, Liaoning Province, China. Analysis was based on climatic and soil data from 20 sites in the study area. The fuzzy set method gave more accurate analysis than multiplicative parametric and maximum limitation methods.
